Samuel Lawrence

Samuel Lawrence is a Field Representative for CalfCare and serves as the eyes and ears FOR the clients. Samuel graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Business. Samuel was raised on a cow-calf operation in Avilla, Indiana that focuses on raising and exhibiting competitive Hereford cattle at the local, state, and national level. Samuel grew up exhibiting livestock with his sisters and served on the National Jr Hereford Board of Directors.

Samuel is a valued team member due to his compassion, devotion, and servant’s approach. Samuel’s primary goal is to serve clients to the best of his ability and advocate for them during the good and tough times. He serves clients by regular visits, product delivery, observing calves and providing market insights for the future. Samuel finds it most rewarding when he can help others achieve success.

Outside of work, Samuel enjoys growing his family cow-calf operation, hunting, fishing, and training stock dogs. He is a member of Indiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers, Indiana Hereford Association, Indiana Beef Cattle Association and American Hereford Association.
