Daniel Early

General Manager

Daniel brings years of hard work and knowledge in purchasing and procurement to the CalfCare team. He wants the best for the calves and the farmer and understands the need for an economical solution to make calf raising profitable. He also has a great understanding of raising bucket calves.

He enjoys being a part of a farmer’s success by providing knowledge and products needed for each situation. Over the years, he has developed a bond with customers and enjoys working with all of them.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics for Purdue University and currently resides in Wabash, Indiana. After graduation, Daniel owned and operated a small dairy farm. He also raised bucket calves at a large facility and formulated and sold components for milk replacer for facilities in his area.

When he is not working, Daniel spends time serving at church and Habitat for Humanity. He is active in the Presbyterian Church of Wabash. He has served as a session member, a deacon, and is now the treasurer. He is also on the governing board for Habitat for Humanity of Wabash. He has served as president and continues to work at job sites to provide affordable housing to all. He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 43 years. They have two grown children and 4 granddaughters. Spending time with the granddaughters and family is a big part of his life. He also likes to garden, fish, and read.

Daniel believes that CalfCare is different because the staff has unique knowledge, experience, and access to experts for calf raising. They have developed (through research) unique and quality products for their customers.
